Learning Pit Competition

Today our School Council worked with Mr. Baudains to judge the finalists of the Learning Pit competition.

We were very impressed by the range of entries.  Using a set of success criteria, we narrowed down the finalists to a shortlist of seven designs, then to a top four, then chose our two winners.

Our two runners up were:

  • Emily (Y4) with her wonderful fabric Learning Pit design with teddy bear motifs.
  • Maggie (Y2) with erh detailed Learning Pit- with a quote from Nelson Mandela no less.

Our winners were:

  • Frankie (Y6) with her wonderful Learning Pit design titled 'Roll to your Goal!'
  • Romie Cole (Y5) with her Ninja Warrior inspired 'Beat the Wall' design.

Our winners and runners up will all get prizes after half term.  Our two winning designs will be made into posters to be displayed around the school.

All of the children that entered will get a small prize after half term for their great efforts.

Here are the two winning designs that will be made into posters:

Romie's winning design.
Frankie's winning design.
