Children in Need

We raised £1058.88!!

Despite the poor weather which meant we had to cancel many of the outdoor activities, La Moye pupils excelled themselves this year, raising the grand total of £1058.88 for Children In Need, an amazing amount for a very worthwhile cause. The day was a ‘Dress Down’ day and many children made a real effort to wear their ‘spots’. We had Pudsey lookalikes and teachers in ‘domino’ outfits! Not only did the children put on lots of activities and stalls, but they had a great time as well. There was so much going on, for example ‘Smashing The Egg Challenge’, ‘Guess The Teacher’, ‘Ping Pong Challenge’, cake sale, decorated biscuits and the traditional ‘Nail Art’ as well as much, much more. The pupils were amazing and really pulled together in what was a real community event, demonstrating all those core values that are so important. Many thanks must go to all the pupils for their efforts, but also to all those parents who supported and helped along the way, both before the event and on the day itself – the event keeps getting better every year!
